I have been wanting to post something about this subject since the start of this unit as it was always a question I had at the back of my mind. That question is how do we deal with learning contexts where technology is limited?
The Guardian recently published an article looking at the dominance of languages in the online world and the different ways we use online platforms depending on our first language, which got me thinking about some of the issues we as English teachers may forget about when introducing technology, particularly the Internet, into the classroom or curriculum.

I spent some time thinking over the weekend about the ways in which I have used technology in my own learning over the years, particularly in regards to language learning. Here are a few things I could think of, with a few words on how well they worked for me as a learner.
